Coach Bryant along with The Student Athlete Advisors and Moore College Data presented at the HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association) Conference in June. The group shared insights on trends in the relationship between college sports and admissions.

Some of the more intriguing data shared includes:
- The odds of male and female high school athletes playing Division I sports in college is less than 5% in all sports. For most sports they have a 1-3% chance.
- The most popular major for collegiate student-athletes is Business.
- The graduation rates of Division I and II student-athletes are higher than for non student-athletes.
- The graduation rates for underrepresented student-athletes is higher than for underrepresented non-student-athletes.
- The most NIL sports by market share are: 1. Football, 2. Men’s & Women’s Basketball and 3. Women’s Gymnastics
- The number of D1 transfers in 2023 was $13,025 and over a third of those were in the sports of football and basketball.
- Only 16% of Junior/Community College students continue on to matriculate in a 4 year college. In comparison, 36% of Junior/Community College varsity student-athletes matriculate in 4 year colleges.
- A university’s application numbers tend to rise immediately following the success of on of their high-profile sports teams.
- There is a direct correlation to a university’s fundraising dollars immediately following the success of on of their high profile sports.
- Between 30-80% of the students on campus are student-athletes at many D3 schools.
